This week we had a loss of $690
bringing performance back to $19,753

We also had a mistake in last week’s numbers, taking a 50% rule loss on the Valero calls. This was due to an error in my trading platform. I mistakenly had the wrong symbol and the VLO 8/34 calls never traded below $1.20. This was brought to my attention by a subscriber who had the position on and was surprised when I reported the loss.
These options closed the week @ $2.29, so the change is a net plus of over $570 in account equity.
We tested support on disappointing Home Sales numbers and assorted trouble around the world. Several BIG DJIA stocks further hurt the averages and we took advantage of the selloff in MSFT calls. I believe that we can see a rally back to the $32.50-33.50, and with 8/32 calls @ $ .45 a move anywhere near those objectives will produce meaningful gains.
The market action on Friday (-$150 to +on the day) should give us a new high for all the meaningful indexes in the short term.
This past Wednesday conference call participation continued to grow. Most participants have enjoyed the midweek update as well as the ability to ask opinions about stocks that are in their portfolio but not currently being traded by us at this time.
